Startups with a focus on Greentech wanted!
The eleventh GO AUSTRIA round by the Global Incubator Network Austria (GIN) offers a 2½-week incubation program with the main focus on Greentech related startups, from April 26th, until May 12th, 2021. It will give participants the opportunity to explore the Austrian and European markets, as well as to find new collaboration partners and/or investors. One major asset of the program is the personal startup mentor who will be matched to each startup, supporting it to validate their business model, to network with investors and relevant stakeholders, as well as design an internationalization plan.
Why participate?
GO AUSTRIA Spring 2021 is an exclusive, intensive 2½-week program in Austria for 10 startups who are already in the later stage phase and are thinking about expanding to the European markets. The program features exclusive workshops, individual mentors and special partnerships with selected Austrian corporates. Additionally, the participants will have the chance to attend the 4GameChangers Festival, the Connect Day 21 (where startups meet corporates and investors) and other international events during Vienna UP’21, the leading Startup Festival in Central Europe. This is a perfect chance for startups to expose their ideas to a specialized audience, to meet interesting potential partners and to forge meaningful connections during the program.
Our Corporate Partner Concept
Since 2016, the most successful GO AUSTRIA participants have built long-lasting relationships with Austrian corporates. To kickstart even more high-quality corporate-startup collaboration, the GO AUSTRIA Spring 2021 batch, in addition to the classical mentoring concept, features “corporate partnerships” as a pilot. Selected well-known Austrian enterprises have agreed to support a startup of the GO AUSTRIA batch if it matches their challenges and there is potential for co-operation. These corporate partners will be involved in the startup selection process. At least five out of the ten selected GO AUSTRIA startups will be assigned a corporate partner, based on the corporates’ needs and the startups’ offers.
Application deadline: February 15th, 2021 (CLOSED)
Since the program will be held digitally, there will be a possibility come to Austria at a later point. The accommodation and part of of the flight costs will be covered then.
