With 573 three-thousanders, 3,400 kilometres of ski runs and more than 40 single trails and bike parks, Tirol is already home for some leading alpine sport companies (Austrialpin, Black Diamond Equipment, Burton, Vivax Drive and others) and it can become also yours.

Standortagentur is a public service provider, initiator and pioneer for business and science regarding growth, research, technology, innovations and cooperation.
It acts as a relationship manager and links startups with possible team members, co-operation partners, industry experts, funding bodies, banks, private equity capital or venture capital investors.
Strong together is the leitmotif of Standortagentur. With an annual budget of almost 7 Mio Euro and five industry clusters (renewable energies, information technologies, life sciences, mechatronics and wellness), Standortagentur aims to strengthen Tirol´s position as business location by supporting established and startup companies to develop and to locate their business in Tirol, thereby aiming at securing existing jobs and creating new job opportunities. Infact, in 2015 a total of 23 companies, coming from other Austrian regions and abroad, settled in Tirol. The planned investments of these companies are around 23 million Euro and will generate more than 200 new jobs in the first two years of their activities.
