Aspöck is an expert in lighting and wiring solutions. The wire harness manufacturing process is handled mostly manually and is very time consuming.
Solutions for automation of basic processes such as cable cutting, cutting of several different cable lines (sheathed lines), contacting on single core/single line, cable threading, final assembly with ISO-certified central connectors incl. final inspection (end of line test, quality management)
What possibilities are there for using smart sensors as a part of lighting systems? Aspöck is looking for sensor technology solutions that increase the safety of the vehicle (e.g. assistance sensors, collision prevention sensors, etc.), sensor solutions that enable trailer2x communication (using the example of car2x solutions) and other smart sensor applications for the trailer of the future in the context of autonomous driving.
Aspöck is looking for solutions that will enable its customers to identify machine components quickly and easily. Information about the current part but also about which alternative parts are available and at what dealer to get them should be provide. As for examples, spare parts can be identified by scan or photo via smartphone and get information about the part at hand everywhere. The information is ideally shared with the dealer as well.
Aspöck is looking for a worklight solution with intelligent programmable or self-learning recognition and tracking of static or moving objects. The focus is on the targeted illumination of definable objects and object tracking. Solutions are sought primarily for use on self-propelled machines.
The increase in safety is to be achieved by a targeted lighting focus on “freely definable” points (e.g. crane hook, excavator shovel, people,…). In agriculture for example, the solution could detect moving objects such as animals, people in the field and illuminate them additionally.
Aspöck is looking for solutions for the prevention of theft of vehicle parts and lighting systems (lights, wiring, plugs etc). The main question is how can the theft of vehicle parts and lighting systems including lights, wiring and other parts be prevented?
Liebherr wants to optimize its production processes for the different wheel loaders through the intelligent use of Big Data. The focus here is on the following questions: How can the many equipment possibilities of wheel loaders be better planned? How can big data be used efficiently in production planning for products with a large number of variants? How can trends and forecasts for variant planning be derived by using big data?
Relevant work flows of the Liebherr machines are recorded and the data are subsequently used for optimisation suggestions. This increases the efficiency of the machine and the work processes. As for example, the driver gets a visual demonstration of the most efficient route from one sand pile to another at the construction site based on the analysis of process data.
There is a number of use cases resulting from applying condition monitoring on Liebherr machines. As for example, condition monitoring could be applied on wheel loaders with the aim of anticipating unplanned maintenance and repair measures and thus preventing machine standstills. On the other hand, condition monitoring would help to understand in which application areas certain components cause failure.
There are many manual processes in the production and development of Liebherr machines that require quality assurance. Therefore Liebherr is looking for solutions that will enable a virtually representation and simulation of those basic processes.
An example could be a simulation of the installation of high-pressure hydraulic hoses within Liebherr machines.
There is a number of different use cases emerging from data analytics in sales. Liebherr is looking for solutions that will allow their dealers by using big data analytics to better understand their customers needs and preferences and make tailored recommendations and offerings.
